Shoot the Works
In Shoot the Works you play as Die Guy, A guy with the power of being a die! Jump, Shoot, and Roll your way to the exit to complete each level.
Controls:
A and D: Run
W or Space: Jump
Shift or Right Click: Roll
Left Click: Shoot
This game was made solo in 48 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2022.

Update 1.1 post jam bug fixes:
-Fixed a bug where jackpot wouldn't end and continued between levels
-Fixed a bug where the play could take damage after completing a level

The art assets and sound design go very well together and meshed well.
Game was pretty quick, but level 5 and 6 definitely made the game shine in how combining the dodge and dice roll mechanics really changed up the platformer formula!

Great game, great art and I really like how this could be speedran!
Great game, it had me fondly recalling some of my favorite video games growing up. Particularly on NES and SNES haha. The only criticism I have I hope proves to be constructive and that is I'd love if I could jump out of or during a roll. Otherwise such a fun concept I love that rolling reloads your ammo and I liked that the lower the number the bigger the shot I even noticed my 1 shots ricocheting occasionally which was a cool aspect! Overall great!
This game fits very well in the theme.
I think that thing that stands out the most are the beautiful pixel art animations.
The character also just feels right to control.
